WHAT IS GTANjr?
GTANjr is designed by students, for students, as a way to learn more about global issues related to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Why GTANJr?
Educators opt-in by enrolling in GTAN and then in GTANjr. They receive a link to materials for the experience, and students work their way through online modules (3 foundational modules, rotating challenge modules, and a thematic module) and take an assessment to earn a badge.
After collecting badges and forming teams within their classroom/program, students (with the help of an educator) can design a project and apply for a grant to fund it. Think of GTANjr like a short course with a project as the final exam.
