GTANcreates is a program that integrates food security content with creative endeavors. The mission is to demonstrate that every educator, student, discipline, and professional can see a place where they can connect to solving global challenges.

GTANcreates encourages creative expression while focusing on the biggest issues of today.
Creative endeavors such as poetry helps students to deepen their understanding and empathy around global issues such as food security. It assists in attending to the emotions that these wicked challenges present to the next generation. It provides a platform to inspire youth to action.

All are welcome to access the free food security-focused poetry modules developed by the GTANcreates Action Team.
Educators who are registered for the GTAN Community can participate in all GTANcreates events.
How can I get started with Poetry?
Not a language arts educator? The GTANcreates food security-focused poetry modules were created by a multidisciplinary team of educators for use in any learning space.
The modules are designed to assist learners in the creation of their own food security-focused poem.
